I'd like to express my sincere thanks for what you have done to IBM
Korea visitors. You took us to Kamakura and Hakone and tried to explain
every histories and back ground story of each places and took us to your
nice and sweet home. We really enjoyed staying your home and had a
wonderful
dinner with your nice wife and lovely children.

You may feel very tired after you drove so long time and making every
effort
to guide us. I want you to keep your health as ever. If you visit Korea
next year,I'll guide you to visit any interesting places wherever you like
and taste Korean delicious foods. In the mean time, please investigate on
the places where you want to go and tell me the places which attract you
most.

I'll never forget the wonderful scenery from the peak of Hakone, the
wonder-
ful view of Fuji mountain, the smell of the steams from the volcano, the
quiet
and cozy beautiful moss garden of Hakone Art Gallary as well as the hot

Subject: After 9TH Go Exchange program

Greetings,

Hyohdoh-san and Ohki-san,
thanks so much for your kindest consideration for Korean participants.
We really enjoyed the GO match in Tateyama resort overlooking the beutiful
seashore of the Gulf of Tokyo including the gorgeous dinner, hiking,
sightseeing, drinking, and playing tennis. You prepared very well-organized
and
delightful party for all the participants.

All Korean participants said it was like a paradise to stay there. I also
think that the 9th GO match was the best event ever held. It's a pity that
IBM Korea does not have such a nice facilities unlike IBM Japan, but I'll do
my best to prepare for the best exchange program to be held in next year.
We'll have the 10th anniversary of our Baduk match between IBM Japan and
IBM Korea.

As we talked on the ship from Tateyama, please investigate about the
package for Seolak Mountain and let me know whether it is available. If it
is not,
I may arrange the tour here. There are also good places to visit such as
Kyungjoo and Sooanbo hot springs and I can arrange for that.

Again,I really appreciate the heartful welcome and considerate attention
for IBM Korea participants by the warm-hearted Japanese players and I wish
to meet them in Seoul for the 10th Baduk match next year.

Cheers,

Special thanks Hyodo-san for careful reception at the airport,
Kitani-san for considerate invitation to the home and her wife of providing
the Kingly dinner and the breakfast just like the dinner. I cannot express
by the words how much I got sincere treatment from him and her, Keiko-san.
Kishihara-san for even enrollment of Korean players and for making up the
tour game, Fall 1997 in Seoul, that was the fancy memorial without any
lackness.
In addition to them keeping with many valuable memories, I窶囘 like to
transfer
my appreciation at times.

In spite of them I cannot help reminding your advice and encouragement,
Shubarashi was excessive to my standing at the premitive stage. So I ask

Gonnichiwa,Ohki-san!
Thanks a lot for your effort to arrange the match. You really did a good
job to
make the exxhange program to be very meaningful, valuable, and enjoyable.
I'm applauding
for it. Just a question, what was the final result of you and
Nakayama-san(B class) on
the match? I wrote down all other players' result, but omitted the result
of you two.
Just send me how many wins and losses or draws you two got in the match.
Very truly yours,
     Hyuk

ANNYON HASHIMUNIKA? KAHNG-san. Thank you very much for your warm e-mail.
I must say nine years have really flown by. It was a great pleasure to
meet all of you last week end. I'm also grateful to you for arranging to
come to our Tateyama beach house.
The match result is that Nakayama-san won 7 and lost 5, and Ohki won 5
and 7 lost.
Anyway, as you talked on the ship, is the package for Seolak Mountain "雪岳
山"(do you recognize ?)? I'm interested in Seolak Mountain, because some
IBM paduk member said it was very famous and wonderful place in Korea.
Thank you again for everything all of you joined and cheered. If I can be
of any help to you in near future, especially next year. Keep in touch.
